“I believe that for every body there is an optimum level of function and fitness available that most haven’t yet managed to tap in to. Shift something here, move something differently there; change your mind to change your body and you’ll find it’s amazing what you can achieve.’’
In 2006 Helen had an experience that changed her life forever. She was working as a stunt team instructor at a summer camp in California and fractured her lumbar spine. Amelia's passion for Pilates began 4 years ago. She wanted to compliment her strength and high intensity training with postural and core stability exercises. Falling in love with pilates, she continued her studies to become a Pilates Reformer instructor. Most recently she has completed her training in Stott Pilates Reformer Training.
Incorporating her knowledge as a strength and conditioning coach, Amelia likes to empower her class through strong and challenging movements, focusing on functional movements, unilateral and stability exercises. She encourages her class to be body aware, executing each movement safely and with good technique. Her mission is for everyone to leave stronger, more body conscious and with a smile on their face.
